One of the parameters of an isolated DC-DC converter is the range of the input voltage over which the converter can operate. For the industry-standard “bricks” available for the nominal 48V input telecom marketplace, this range is usually 36V to 75V, or a ratio of about 2:1 from the highest to the lowest value.
